Our client is a primary care service provider situated within the heart of Cambridge. Their modern clinic offers a comprehensive and service focused experience for their patients.

They are not your everyday GP clinic! They are forward-focused and innovative offering a broad range of services from triage clinics to walk-in immunisations, minor procedures and GP and pharmacist consults.

He Korero Mō te tūranga | About the Role

As a member of the Nursing team, you will provide a wide range of clinical services to patients including:

  • In-clinic patient care and support
  • Triage care
  • Nurse clinics offering immunisations, diabetes reviews and cervical screening
  • Supporting and educating patients to manage chronic health conditions.

You will need to be able to work a minimum of 4 days per week (full-time is an option). You will be required to finish a little later one day a week and may occasionally be required to work a Saturday for specialist clinics.

He Kōrero mōu | About You

You care about the patient and are someone who works in a collaborative and respectful manner with all patients, whanau, and the wider clinical team. Ideally, you will have experience in working with patients to achieve equitable health outcomes.

The team works collaboratively – the ability to multi-task, work well in a team, and have a good sense of humour is vital.

To apply for the role, you need to hold a current NZ practicing certificate and have a patient-centric approach to nursing. The ability to understand and use a patient management system is a vital part of the role.
