Yashili New Zealand Diary Company have built a brand new plant manufacturing high-quality, high-specification infant formula for the demanding and growing Chinese market. An opportunity for an Inventory Controller has arisen to join our high-performance team.

Your role will see you managing inventory functions from end to end including:

  • Co-ordinating the delivery and availability of raw materials and other products so that they are available for production when required
  • Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels
  • Ensuring the inwards goods and stock control areas are well organised and controlled
  • Reporting on our inventory management programme
  • Working alongside our procurement team to meet logistical objectives

This is a pivotal role requiring our successful candidate to have the following attributes:

  • Relevant work experience
  • An analytical mind with a focus on working logically & systematically
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and planning skills within a pressurized environment
  • A sense of urgency and energy about the way you work
  • A positive and pro-active attitude
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills along with being technology savvy

Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications with relevant qualifications in inventory management.
