Due to a team member leaving to start their own business, our client requires a Dental Assistant to join their supportive, and skilled team. They operate across two well respected clinics, one in Hillcrest and the other just down the road in Tamahere.
This is a varied role which will involve:
- Working closely with dentists to ensure patients are well cared for
- Providing patients with support for their treatment
- Preparing dental instruments, supplies and equipment for procedures including sterilization
- Providing reception cover from time to time
To be successful in this role you will need to be:
- Prior dental experience would be helpful, but a great attitude and a strong work ethic will also give you the edge as training can be provided
- Able to support the team by taking on extra tasks
- Personable and patient-focused
- Empathetic with a calm chair-side manner
- Great at communicating with others
- Confident in using patient management software
- Well-presented
- Able to work across both their Hillcrest and Tamahere clinics
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 5.15pm (42.5 hours per week).
