Gumboot wearing Super Administrator wanted!

Our client is a specialist supplier of NZ grown, interesting and rare timbers. They also source and supply native timbers, from across the globe. Their timbers are used in a wide range of products from furniture, benchtops and flooring through to musical instruments.

They are looking for a capable, efficient Super Administrator to join the team and provide great office support, making it run like a well-oiled machine. Initially the role is for 20 hours a week and may grow over time.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Handling customer queries and website sales
  • Job scheduling
  • Day-to-day accounts administration
  • Updating the website
  • Keeping client records up to date
  • Health and safety compliance

You need to have:

  • Great general administration skills
  • The ability to use Xero
  • A great telephone manner
  • Initiative with a “get stuck in, get the job done” attitude
  • The ability to work independently

This isn’t your average job! You can’t be afraid to throw on a pair of gumboots and wander down to the mill when the need arises. This role has the opportunity to make a real difference to the operational side of a unique business, working directly with the owner in their rural-based location on the outskirts of Hamilton.
