Receptionist – Physiotherapy Clinic
Our client, a well-respected physiotherapy practice, is looking for a Frontline Receptionist to join their team working across their Cambridge and Te Awamutu clinics. If you relate to people, have strong administration skills, and thrive in a busy environment, this could be the role for you!
About the Role
This role is all about ensuring patients have a seamless experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients, checking them in, and handling enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Managing appointment bookings and patient records with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining the clinic’s presentation—ensuring the reception and waiting areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
- Supporting the wider team as needed to keep things running smoothly.
You will be based in the Cambridge clinic 2 days a week and the Te Awamutu clinic 3 days. The core hours of work are 8.00am to 6.00pm however our client does have flexibility to consider an 8.30am to 5.00pm working arrangement.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Great computer skills, with experience using booking systems or databases.
- Great attention to detail—accuracy is key when managing patient information.
- A warm, professional, and confident manner – patients should feel at ease the moment they arrive.
- The ability to multi-task and stay organised in a busy environment.
