The role
As the newest member of our HR Consulting team your focus will be on advising clients as they navigate the employer journey from hiring to exiting staff. No two days are the same in this role; our clients come to us for assistance in recruitment, drafting compliance documentation and managing both the good and the ugly employee matters.

About you
Do you thrive on helping employers achieve positive outcomes for their business and their team? Are you agile enough to deal with any HR question a client throws at you and be their wise sounding board?
Ideally you will have 5+ years’ experience in the HR space and be conversant with NZ employment legislation, managing a vacancy from end to end, writing documentation and walking clients through the performance management and/or disciplinary process.
It goes without saying you have personal integrity and a client-focused approach. And alongside this, you need to have the ability to communicate well with clients and craft well-written documents.
We’re looking for someone who will fit into our team seamlessly and be up and running in the role quickly.

The finer details

You’ll be working approximately 20 hours a week across three days. Having the flexibility to work a few extra hours when workloads change or when someone is away is vital.
